FAQs

How do I book a stay?

Bunyara Retreat House does not use instant booking. We begin with a short enquiry so we can ensure the retreat is a good fit for you at this time. After your enquiry, we’ll be in touch by email to organise a call to talk things through and answer any questions before confirming your stay.

What is the retreat experience like?

Bunyara Retreat House is a self-guided retreat. There are no group sessions or fixed schedules. Instead, you are gently supported by a guidebook, along with optional audio, video, and reflective practices that you can engage with at your own pace. The emphasis is on rest, quiet, and allowing your own rhythm to emerge.

Do I need experience with meditation or retreats?

No prior experience is needed. Everything at Bunyara Retreat House is invitational and adaptable. Many guests are new to this kind of experience, and the structure is designed to feel accessible, simple, and supportive.

Are meals provided?

You can choose how you would like to approach meals during your stay. Options include self-catered, provisioned (with food supplied for you to prepare), or fully catered. We can talk through these options during your enquiry to find what best suits you.

Is Bunyara right for me?

Bunyara is often well suited to people who are feeling stressed, depleted, or in need of time away from ongoing demands. It may not be the right fit if you are seeking crisis support or intensive therapeutic care. If you’re unsure, you’re very welcome to enquire — we can explore this together.

Can I come with someone?

Bunyara is designed for individuals or couples. If you’re considering coming with a partner or close companion, you’re welcome to discuss this during your enquiry so we can ensure the experience supports both of you.
