Cancelation & Refund Policy

A considered approach

At Bunyara, we understand that plans can change. At the same time, each retreat is held with care, preparation, and limited availability.

This policy is designed to balance flexibility with the need to honour bookings and maintain a sustainable retreat space.

Cancellations by guests

If you need to cancel your stay, the following applies:

  • More than 30 days before your stay
    Full refund, minus any processing fees

  • 14–30 days before your stay
    50% refund of the total booking amount

  • Less than 14 days before your stay
    No refund

 

These timeframes reflect the limited number of stays available and the difficulty of rebooking at short notice.

Changes and rescheduling

If you are unable to attend your original dates, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a change of booking, subject to availability.

 

Requests to reschedule:

  • made more than 14 days in advance will generally be accommodated

  • made within 14 days may not always be possible

 

In some cases, a credit toward a future stay may be offered.

Exceptional circumstances

We understand that unforeseen or significant circumstances can arise.

 

If you need to cancel due to exceptional circumstances, please contact us. While we cannot guarantee refunds outside the standard policy, we will consider each situation with care.

Cancellations by Bunyara

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your stay due to:

  • unforeseen circumstances

  • safety concerns

  • events beyond our control

 

You will receive:

  • a full refund, or

  • the option to reschedule your stay

Early departure

If you choose to leave your stay early, refunds are not provided for unused nights.

Travel considerations

If you are travelling from interstate or internationally, we recommend:

  • allowing adequate time for travel planning

  • considering travel insurance where appropriate

A note on care and clarity

This policy is not intended to be restrictive. It is part of how we hold the retreat with care, ensuring that each stay is thoughtfully prepared and that availability is respected.
